Hello everyone, this Medium post is a general overview about the NFT Skins project and what drives its development.
With the surge of Metaverse NFT Lands and the amazing opportunity for P2E to go mainstream with that, we wanted to give our contribution in the development of this space.
The project that inspired us, both for their very skilled developer and the utility that it brings, is NFT Worlds.
NFT Worlds lets you own a virtual piece of land, perfectly integrating with the game Minecraft, where you can build basically anything and create what we call “Experiences” for everyone to enjoy and, especially, earn.

To wrap it up:
NFT Skins is a collection of 7777 unique NFTs living on the Ethereum Blockchain.
Each skin is based on Minecraft skins and is randomly generated from combination of more than 300+ traits.
They are fully compatible with Minecraft and of course, NFT Worlds.
NFT Utility and look
Let’s see what’s the utility we backed into NFT Skins.
Each NFT Skin will let you Download a .png file of that skin that you can upload on the Minecraft website under “My Account” tab so you can actually use it ingame.
The cool part in all of this is that you are actually “wearing” your NFT.
Even more cooler than that, you will be able to edit your NFT Skin to your likings and update it. The NFT on Opensea will reflect those changes!
More or less like you can use your NFT World seed, build on your World and then upload it back modified on the Blockchain.
You will always be able to return to default look of your NFT Skin in case you mess it up!
Roadmap
Our Roadmap is already stated on the official Website and on our Discord, but we will use this Medium article to go deeper into that.
Let’s recap it here:
– Donate 5% of the Mint ETH to the Gray Boys DAO Treasury (Mothership DAO).
– Use 20% of the Mint ETH to buy NFT Worlds and use them as Community Server. Only NFT Skins holders will be able to join.
– Build a Custom P2E Experience on our NFT Worlds so we can apply for the P2E Faucet of $WRLD Token.
– 50% of all the Royalties from Secondary Sales will go to Treasury to buy more Worlds.
– Distribute all the $WRLD Tokens from the 2nd Airdrop to Holders and every $WRLD that our Worlds generate monthly as well.
As you can see, we are allocating half of the Royalties we get from secondary market sales and a good chunk of the Mint Funds to purchase NFT Worlds.
We will also donate 5% of the Mint Funds to the Gray Boys DAO (Gray Boys is the 2nd collection from the creators of NFT Worlds and has a DAO Treasury).
But let’s talk on how $WRLD will integrate in our Roadmap.
20% of the Funds will be used to buy NFT Worlds for our Community. Funds will also cover the cost to hire a “Verified Builder” that will create those “Experiences” we were talking at the beginning so we can apply to the $WRLD Token P2E Faucet. This means, that you will be able to play in our official NFT World and earn $WRLD!
In fact, around 50% of the whole $WRLD Token Supply has been reserved just for that.
Plus, we will be elegible for the 2nd airdrop of $WRLD and when Staking goes live, the Treasury (and the Community) will have a daily flow of $WRLD tokens as well to fuel every future development of the project.
NFT Worlds uses the $WRLD Token to power the whole ecosystem: $WRLD is available both on L1 Ethereum and on L2 Polygon (This is where the most of game P2E related transaction are made).
Speaking of $WRLD on Polygon, it features a revolutionary perk where you can send $WRLD transactions WITHOUT needing to hold a Gas Token to pay for the fees (MATIC in this case). It actually removes a lot of friction and it makes easier for everyone to play and earn. THIS IS HUGE.

NFT Skins will be able to be Mintable very soon. The first 500 are FREE and the rest will have a price of 0.05 ETH + gas each.
We are using top notch ERC721A for our Smart Contract and with some heavy optimizations we were able to mint 10 NFT Skins for just 18$ in gas.
There will be no Whitelist and it will be a First Come First Served mint until the supply runs out.
You will be able to List and Sell NFT Skins both on Opensea and Looks Rare!
